Road Signs

In his 2005 commencement speech to Stanford University, Steve Jobs reflected on his life's events, and how while in the moment they seemed disjointed, looking back they were all road signs leading to his future and success.
Sefer Deverim captures the transformative moment in Jewish history where a nation who had emerged from the bondage of Egypt and the tests of the desert wilderness, now stood at the threshold of its promised land. How did Moshe begin his "speech" to the "graduating class?" He reflected on their journey through life. He made them reflect on where they had been and what they had done. It wasn't all pretty, but when we reflect on our past, even our mistakes become the greatest signs on the road of life.
