Moshe’s Rockets & Hashem’s Iron Dome

The sanction was in place.  Unlike his people which he had led to the Promised Land, Moshe was to die in the wilderness.  Standing at the border, longing to enter the land, Moshe begins to launch his prayers into the heavens.  Like a rocket they tore through the heavens, breaking through the gates locked before them.  The heavens panicked.  Hashem commands the angels and the heavenly courts not to accept his prayers.  The decree was sealed.  Like the iron dome, they would see that Moshe's prayers would not meet their destination (Midrash).
Hopefully the events of the past month woke us up from our slumber.  As the dust settles, let's not go back to how we were before.  We can accomplish some much through our prayer.  Our prayers were also on the front-lines!    Like Moshe Rabbeinu, let's storm the heavens!
